Writes Talbert Black, Jr.
Can you imagine… Tom Woods being interviewed by a progressive host who tried to skewer him? Frank, the host, thought he had some great questions that would trip up Dr. Woods and make him look foolish, but Tom was having none of it. Frank was not very educated on the subject of nullification. Perhaps if he had watch Tom’s “Interview with a Zombie” he would have known which questions to avoid.
Tom Woods will be the keynote speaker at the launch of the Nullify Now! tour in Ft Worth, Texas on September 4th. He’ll also be speaking in Orlando on 10-10-10. Click here to get tickets now or call 888.71.TICKETS
“Handing the federal government a piece of paper, patting it on the back and saying ‘now go limit your power’ is just not going to work. Limiting power has to come from an entity outside the federal government. Thomas Jefferson’s answer was the states.”
“The federal courts are part of the problem. As part of the federal government itself, the courts cannot be reliable arbiters of the extent of federal power…For example, it took the Supreme Court 60 years before it ruled just one time that the federal government went beyond it’s constitutional powers under the commerce clause.”

I didn't realize the host had a degree in economics.
That host was on the ropes the whole episode. I wish there were more time for him to find out how much Tom knew about economics too.
The reason that voting out your congressman is an inadequate response is that 100% of your state's people may disapprove of the central government's unconstitutional policy, and changing your state's few congressmen will not change that federal policy. It's the same reason as the colonists didn't think the solution to their problems with Britain was simply to have a few members of Parliament from Connecticut, a few from North Carolina, a few from Rhode Island, etc.
…being from SC, would very much appreciate a full accounting of the persons involved in this interview; as in, host's name, which show was recorded, and what are the call letters of the station?
…it does no good to simply state Mr. Woods simply 'skewered frank, the progressive talk show host'. A good reporter should always include names and contact info for all parties…
thanks!
…if anyone is interested, the host was Frank Knapp, and he has a show on 1230 AM near Columbia, SC. Here is the link to the show page;
